WOLF AND DOG

Wolf and Dog (Lobo e Cão) is the first feature film by Portuguese director Claudia Varejão. The movie follows a group of queer teenagers growing up in the uber-religious town of San Miguel in the Azores who yearn for more than the small-town ideals and the mundane lifestyle of their parents. The film premiered in the Giornate degli Autori section of the 79th Venice Film Festival in 2022 where it won the Director´s Award.
